Reilly Glore lives in the Pacific Northwest. He has flown from the Arctic Circle to the tip of the Baja Peninsula, and from the Pacific Ocean to Teterborough, New Jersey. Reilly’s 1972 Cessna 182 is equipped with inadvertent TKS Ice Protection, which he has flown for 9 years.
How did you get started in aviation?
I took lessons in 1972 after starting my first job after college.
Why did you choose TKS?
It is the only effective anti-ice solution available for my airplane model.
What does TKS do for your mission?
TKS is peace of mind when crossing the Cascades when freezing level is close to MEA.
